STAINLESS STEEL 316 FITTINGS AND FIXTURES
Marine grade 316 stainless steel is used for all steel fittings, fixtures, and components. Many of these parts are mirror finished and also embossed with laser engraving to proclaim the quality that is built into every Spitfire trailer.
STAINLESS STEEL WINCH
CNC machine cut from marine grade 316 Stainless, and fitted with bronze bushes, offers a lifetime of service.
HDPE BUNKS
Super slippery, bunks provide superior load dispersal while towing. Unlike nylon, our bunks are suitable for fibreglass and alloy hulls.
INTERCHANGEABLE WITH SIDE ROLLERS
VEE GUIDES
Take the boat ramp stress away with a few Vee Guides and drive-on straight with ease, regardless of the weather. Secured with stainless 316 brackets.
UPGRADE
HEAVY DUTY TORSION AXLES WITH DEEMAXX HUBS
Independent torsion axles offer the gentlest of rides and removes the chance of broken leaf springs.
HDPE SKIDS
Softer than gelcoat, smoother than nylon, durable and slippery. Unlike blue nylon, these are suitable for both fibreglass and aluminium hulls.
UPGRADEABLE TO VEE GUIDES OR KEEL ROLLERS
6061-T6 ANODIZED HARDENED ALUMINIUM
Made with aircraft-grade aluminium with an anodized finish, all of our chassis I-beams are rated to 3.5T. Our advanced hardening process increases strength by approximately 50% compared to all our competitors using normal aluminium and enables us to build stronger lighter trailers.
SIDE ROLLERS
Soft blue polyurethane for hull-friendly contact, supported on 316 stainless posts. Rollers don't get any better than this.
INTERCHANGEABLE WITH BUNKS
BOLTED CONSTRUCTION
The chassis of a Spitfire trailer is bolted together. This has the advantage over welded chassis in that it allows some movement that comes from the flex of aluminium and eliminates cracking at the welds.
STAINLESS SHEATHED FLEXIBLE HYDRAULIC LINES
Secured in place with stainless clips, stainless cable ties and P-clips.

MUDGUARDS
All 2021 Spitfire mudguards are made from one piece of 4mm checker plate aluminium (no welding) and fitted with vibration dampers to eliminate cracking.
Designed to carry a person’s weight and adjustable in height to accommodate shallow or deep Vee hulls.
ALLOY WHEELS
Our wheels never fail to turn heads. 5-stud Ford pattern on the 3T and below, and 6-stud Landcruiser pattern on the 3.5T.
SUBMERSIBLE LED TAIL LIGHTS
All Spitfire trailer lights are fully submersible LED’s. Connectors are carefully prepared during assembly for water exclusion to ensure longevity and avoid the many problems experienced by trailer owners. With the rare advantage of reverse lights, backing down a dark driveway has never been easier.
QUADRUPLE LOCKED LEGS
Spitfire roller and bunk legs have a quadruple locking system that is CNC milled to .002 of a millimetre tolerance, ensuring your rig remains secure and is also easy to adjust at any time.
DEEMAXX ROTORS
DeeMaxx Components is the ONLY brake manufacturer to pass the SAE J2681 Brake Test and to pass it “satisfactorily”. We offer the Dacromet-coated vented rotors as standard, with the option to upgrade to stainless steel (pictured) while stocks last.
UPGRADE
DEEMAXX CALLIPERS
Floating callipers cool better as the fluid and piston are only on the inboard side of the rotor. They also have fewer moving parts and seals to leak or wear out. Dacromet-coated DeeMaxx callipers included as standard, with the option to upgrade to stainless steel (pictured) while stocks last.

QUICK GREASE BEARINGS

An absolute pleasure dealing with Spitfire. From the very first contact right until collection, the team at spitfire went above and beyond in every aspect. We couldn’t be happier with our 800-3500 trailer, it fit our boat perfectly just as the team assured me it would. Highly recommend the spitfire team, their trailers, professionalism and attention to detail is very refreshing.
